Paul Douglas Bartosik Jr. "Lil Hootie", 30, passed away on October 1, 2022. He was born on August 7, 1992 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. He was the son of Paul "Bart" Bartosik and Mary Manning.
Paul was raised in Pensacola, Florida and lived there most of his life. He was a family man and a hard worker. He and his wife Stephanie were a team and no matter what worked together to make sure that their family was well taken care of. Paul loved Stephanie's three children as if they were his own. One of his favorite titles most of all was Gampy! Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Alabama football. Roll Tide! Paul and Stephanie had attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and Paul rested in the fact that his Lord and savior was Jesus Christ and God's plans for his life, though not always understood, were perfect. Paul had a heart of gold and would do anything that he could for his family and friends even if it meant giving someone the shirt off of his back.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Bartosik and her children Colton (Brittany), Haley, and Marleigh Gideons. His parents Paul "Bart" Bartosik (Gail) and Mary Manning. His grandsons Haysden Gideons and Braxton Gideons. His siblings Shane Manning, Heather Manning, Savanna Lawnicki (Cody), and Scarlett Calderwood (Cliff). His nieces and nephews. His father and mother-in-laws Michael Bailey (Debbie) and Anette Stone (Tom). His grandmother Eunice Nall and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother Wade Manning and his sister Heather Morris.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home located at 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, Florida with a committal prayer following in the Memorial Garden. The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to the time of the service at 1 p.m.
His family extends their appreciation for continued prayers and support during this time.
