

Paul was born in Bartow, Florida to Clarence and Lucille (Mizell) Mullinax. He joined the Air Force in 1964 and served in Vietnam from 1966-1967. He married Christine (Oliver) Mullinax on June 15, 1968. As a career Airman, Paul’s family served two tours of duty in Germany and resided in multiple US states. He retired from the Air Force in Fort Walton Beach in 1987. Paul then became a Government Defense Contractor until 2012. Paul and Chris continued their love of travel - visiting many other countries- through their love of cruising. Paul is survived by his wife, Christine, of 56 years; son Robert (Michelle) Mullinax, of Smiths Station, Alabama; and daughter Shannon (Kevin) Thomas of Anchorage, Alaska. Paul and Chris have six grandchildren: Hayley Mullinax, Ty Thomas, Chrissandra Mullinax, Jack Thomas, Jeffrey Thomas, and Luke Thomas. He was preceded in death by his brother Clarence (Joanne) Mullinax. Paul is survived by his brother Van (Joyce) Mullinax and several nieces and nephews. Paul enjoyed jewelry making and learning about the history of trains. He will be missed by his loving family.
