1937-2016
Ronald Ernest Knodel (Little D) passed away peacefully on Sunday 24th July 2016. He was a proud veteran and Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force for over 30 years. He dedicated his free time to the Civitans helping those less fortunate. He was an ever present considerate daddy and a thoughtful grandad to Jessica. He was a gentle and kind mentor dealing with any and every situation with a smile. As a husband, daddy and grandad, he was a rock, our provider and our strength. He leaves behind his wife Annette Knodel, his daughters Diana Knodel, Angelique Pannaye, Natashja Troskie and son Dimitri Merritt.
His service will be held on Thursday 28th July 2016 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, the viewing starting at 10:00 a.m., the service at 10:45 a.m. followed by his military service at Barrancas National Cemetery, starting at 12:30 p.m.
He will forever be loved and never forgotten.
