1925-2016
Rose Laroche passed into the hands of Our Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2016. She retired after 23 years from Monsanto. She and her beloved husband Henry enjoyed cruising. They had a passion for ballroom dancing and were members of the Rhythm Lovers and Civil Airs. They were also active members of the Swinging Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, her parents Henri Chabot and Rosa Sabourin and her brother Norman Chabot.
Rose is survived by her children: Elaine, Denis (Carol), and Richard (Susette) Laroche, and her sisters Claire Therien and Jacqueline Konicki. She has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church followed by burial at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Emerald Coast Hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
