She was born May 27, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama to Virgil and Catherine Sutton. On November 25, 1989 Sandra married Robert Fritsche. Sandra worked as an investigator for the FBI for 36 years. She spent the first 20 years in Miami and the last 16 years in the Fort Walton Beach RA office. Sandra always felt so blessed and proud to be part of the FBI family.
Sandra enjoyed an active life of walking, tennis, golf and, in her younger years, skiing. Her faith in God and the comfort of his words were a cornerstone in her life.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: brother, Ronald Sutton and her first husband, Benjamin Grogan.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Fritsche; step daughter, Lori Mae Harmel; step son, Chris Fritsche and grandchildren, Sommer Manwarren, Brody Fritsche, Kaitlyn and Nathan Harmel; nephew, Jason Sutton; great niece, Alyssa and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel in Pensacola, Florida. A graveside service will held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer society.
