I just can’t find the right words to express my sorrow. I am so fortunate and blessed to have had this woman in my life. As my mother, she was stern and she expected the best we had to give every day...no shortcuts and no easy paths. If it was worth doing, it was worth working for and putting your heart into it. Everyone who knew her, knew how special she was, and there was never any doubt about the love she had in her heart. I am grateful for the love that people had for her and for the life she lived. She was fearless especially when it came to her family, her friends and her faith. I am the strong woman that I am because of her. If you knew her, your life was forever touched by her spirit and her soul. I will miss you until we meet again. I love you Mom!

She was the best grandmother/mother that anyone could have ever asked for. She raised me to be the strong, independent woman i am now. Memaw is forever my hero and my inspiration to continue to thrive every single day. I truly love and miss her with my whole heart.
