Vera Elizabeth Roth

1920 – 2012

Vera Elizabeth Roth passed away on June 18, 2012. She was born on July 14, 1920 in St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Roth, her brothers and their wives, Earle and Kathy LaBoube, Russell and Thelma LaBoube; her sisters and their husbands, Irene and Malcolm Stahlen, Viola and Edward Holdner and sister-in-law, Esther Roth.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Gaither (Col. Thomas Gaither, Ret.) of San Antonio, Texas and Nancy Cox of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Thomas Gaither (Stephanie Gaither) of Macon, GA, Babette Maxwell (LCDR David Maxwell) of Ft. Worth, TX, Constance Cox (Stefan Eitzinger) of Birmingham, AL, Christopher Cox (Sloane Stephens Cox) of Pensacola, FL; great grandchildren, Mary Gaither of Macon, GA, David Maxwell, Witt Maxwell and William Maxwell of Ft. Worth, TX, Shelby Cox and Carson Cox of Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law, Virginia Nichols of Oklahoma City, OK; many nieces and nephews, Louise (Wayne) Moody of Kansas City, KS, Ted LaBoube of St. Louis, MO, Diane Eggeman (David) of Tallahassee, FL, Margie (Gary) Canella of Atlanta, GA, Allen (Rosanne) Roth of Evansville, IN; and brother-in-law, Clarence Roth of St. Louis, MO.

Vera spent many years residing Lakeland, FL and the family extends special thanks for the kindness of her many friends and neighbors. Thank you also to the staff of the Health Center of Pensacola for their kindness and compassion.

A memorial service will celebrate her life at Christ Episcopal Church, Pensacola, FL. Inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, MO.
