Virgil D. Zimmerman

1938-2016

Virgil D. Zimmerman entered into life March 3, 1938 in Breckenridge, Michigan and entered into rest November 3, 2016 in Pensacola, Florida. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.

Mr. Zimmerman was preceded in death by parents Vernon and Lois Zimmerman, wife Juanita Zimmerman, daughter Gloria (Harry) Russell, grandson Richard Russell, granddaughter Gloria Morris and Great granddaughter Kristie Morris. He is survived by sister Marge (Robert) Reed of Lakeland, Florida and brothers Al Zimmerman and Bernie (Dora) Zimmerman, both of Midland, Michigan. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, daughter Donna (Larry) Creel of Arcadia, Florida, grandchildren Elizabeth Soldani , Virgil Russell, Donna (Rickey) Paul and James Morris, all of Pensacola, Florida, eight great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.

He will lovingly be remembered by members of the First Methodist Church of Miami, Florida and the management/staff and residents of University Pines Retirement Community in Pensacola.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens in Pensacola and laid to rest at Dade Memorial Park North in Miami. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
