She was born August 16, 1939 in Peoria the daughter of Merle and Elizabeth Alliss Beach. She married Larry Behrens on April 4, 1959.
Alice is survived by her husband of 57 years; one son, Larry (Wendy Crosby) Behrens of Carlinville; three daughters, Lorrey (Bruce) Vonbrethorst of Peoria, Erika Hoover of Bartonville, and Ninette (Curt) LeRoy of Morton; Nine grandchildren, Grant, Samantha, Austin, Christian, Carter, Hayden, Ashton, Seth, McKinsey; and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Alma McDowell of East Peoria; and one nephew, Paul Franklin of East Peoria.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Susan Morse
Alice loved to watch birds and go camping. They were members of “Squares on wheels”.
Funeral services will be at 3pm Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
