Peoria – Anna “Grama” Pitcher, 100, of Peoria, IL passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence. Anna was born May 10, 1915 in Peoria, IL to James and Anna (Strauss) Terlep. She married Alva E. Pitcher on August 2, 1941 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are: her two daughters; Jean Schmeilski of Peoria, IL and Sandra (Billy) Randle of Peoria, IL, her son Ronald (Melony) Pitcher of Peoria, IL, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, one brother, and three sisters. Anna worked on the bottling line at Hiram Walker for 27 years, retiring in 1981 and as a kitchen manager and cook for Richwoods High School. She was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Catholic Church for 100 years. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church.
