

Barbara was born in Peoria Heights at home on August 6, 1939, a daughter of James and Margaret (Titus) Woodruff. .
She is survived by her special daughter Melinda (Dawn Hubbard) of Peoria, who she always wanted to remember that she was chosen; two sisters Patricia Anderson of Canton and Rise (Ernie) Crowl of Peoria; two nieces Shawn Dawson of Washington and Mary Allen of Peoria Heights; great neighbor Jerry Martin; and life long friends, Marilyn Rotholtz, and Rawnie Mathis.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Mary L. Dawson.
She was a Phone operator for Illinois Bell and AT&T.
Barbara volunteered as a History interpreter at Jubilee College, and in the library at Rolling Acres Grade School. She enjoyed being on the high school reunion committee.
She wanted to thank her loving sister Rise Crowl for all her help. She made her life much easier. Also a special thank you to Sheryl and Liz Feldman for all your visits and flowers. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Illinois Cancer Care.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 1, 2012 At Davison- Fulton Woolsey-Wilton in Peoria. Visitation will be Tuesday July 31, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
