Barbara was born on September 23, 1941, to Earl Thomas Siders and Verna Clemons in Peoria, IL.
She was a school bus driver in the Peoria County area and has been retired for over 20 years.
Barbara was a member of Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, IL. She was one of the volunteer organizers for a Singles Group that her church ran. She was very involved and dedicated to her church and events. Barabara spoke openly about her faith and relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed many sunny afternoons sitting on the porch of the home she shared with Jimmy. She was always ready and willing to sit down and have cheesecake whenever the opportunity arose.
Barbara is survived by her grandchildren, Missy, Brian, Brandy, Jeremy, Jacob, Kayla, Christopher, Kim and Little John; eight great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Jimmy Gillinger.
Barb opened her heart and expanded her family by accepting Kris Finnegan, whom she played cupid for by introducing and encouraging Denny, her husband now, into her life. The family grew and so did her heart. Through her faith in Christ, she inherited many brothers and sisters.
She is preceded by her parents; her children; Ricky Blaine, Jr, Debra Lynn Gillinger, Brenda Lee Blaine, and Carla Kay Hirst; her siblings; and 2 infant grandchildren.
A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, IL at 2:00 p.m.- with a Visitation 1 hour prior. The Committal will immediately follow at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
