Brenda K. Bundy

Born Sept. 16, 1945 in Peoria, IL to Lloyd R. and Nelda B. (Loeffler) Harrison. She married John J. Bundy. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stan; and nephew, Todd.

Surviving are three children, John (Jacque) Sumner of Ocala, FL, Linda (Ron) Sumner of Peoria, and Mike (Barb) Joyner of Germantown Hills; three step children, Jeff, Deb, and Shane Bundy; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Heather, Anthony, Andrea, Tabitha, Robert, Morgan, and Audrey; four great grandchildren; and her sister, Betty (Jerry) Doubet of Mapleton.

Brenda worked at Caterpillar Inc., later working as a manager at Circle K before retiring. She was a member of Bethany Community Church in Washington. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid Bradley Braves Basketball, and Chicago Cubs fan and was a member of the Braves Club, where two of her children graduated from.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the Chapel, with Rev. Daniel Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
