Craig R. "Dude" Ball

He was born on June 18, 1970, in Peoria to Richard and Billie (Mathus) Ball.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother of Peoria; three sisters, Christine (Michael) Tyre of Troy, IL, Cathy Ball of Peoria and Colletta (Scott) Ball of Glen Ellen, IL; two nieces, Krista Fisher of Royal Oak, MI, and Natalie Ball of Glen Ellen; two nephews, Luke Tyre of Terre Haute, IN, and Steven Ball of Glen Ellen; and Craig’s very best friend, Naja Duran of Mesa, AZ.

Dude loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, listening to all kinds of music, boating and traveling and watching the sunset.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aperion Care Center in Galesburg for their wonderful care and compassion for Dude while he was a resident there.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or PAWS.
