

He was born on September 17, 1931, a son of Calvin W. Craemer and Ethel (Darby) Craemer. David married Bernice Ardern on February, 26, 1951 in Springfield, they celebrated 73 years together. She survives.
David is survived by his four children, Karen (Karen Regan) Reiser of Bartonville, Debra (Roy) Farrar of Hornsby, Vickie (John) Randolph of Peoria, Denise Craemer of Peoria; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Hazel; and two brothers, Clarence and Howard Eugene; and one son, Paul.
He served his country in the United States Air National Guard.
David worked as a wire drawer for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville for many years.
He past hobbies included CB radio and archery. David was a fan of the Chicago Cubs. He liked playing volleyball and enjoyed swimming. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
David had been a member of Memorial Baptist Church and believed in our Lord Jesus Christ.
David's funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Pastor Ken Linder will officiate. His visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice.
