Eva M. Miller

She was born on July 25, 1920 in Peoria, IL to William and Nellie (Cox) Absher. She married James William Crist Miller on April 5, 1942 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1994. One brother, Ralph E. Absher and one granddaughter, Kimberly M. Sachdeva also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. Imler of Austin, TX and Barbara J. Miller of Peoria. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Katrina D. Raker of Peoria and Jill M. (Chris) Schaub of Edwards and four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Alexandria, Henry and Brittney.

Eva served her community by volunteering with the American Red Cross, Methodist Hospital and as an election judge. She was also a long time member of the Madison Ave. United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
