

Frances Joan Whitesell Bollman, 76, formerly of Peoria, passed away and went to heaven on Monday, October 29, 2013. Joan was born in Carlinville, Illinois, on Dec. 14, 1936, to the late Ross and Reba Hart. She graduated from high school in Litchfield, Illinois. Joan married Don Whitesell, who passed away in 1974. Last year, Joan found love again and married Mike Bollman. Joan moved to Arizona in 1982 and created a beautiful life. She loved to travel, especially with her longtime friend, Peggy Burnap. Together they traveled to the Holy Land, Scotland, England and throughout the U.S. Joan had a special love for tea and boasted a beautiful tea cup collection. She is survived by three children, Kim (Ken) Sparks of Peoria, Arizona, Sandy (Dave) Kallister of Pekin, Illinois, and Dusty (LeeAnne) Whitesell of Snohomish, Washington; one brother, Ken (Judy) Hart; and four sisters, Betty Baylis, Kathy Carter, Barb (Dale) Bollman and Judy (Larry) Clauson. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Joan will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. and funeral service will be Wednesday, November 6, at 11 a.m., both located at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, Ill.
