Frank was born on June 21, 1940, in Grenada, Mississippi, to Bill and Mamie Jones. On September 28, 1989, he was united in marriage to Ms. Ethel McManis, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jones; stepdaughters, Cynthia White (John) and Amy McGee; nephews, George Wesley Scott and Gil Moody; as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who cherished him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mamie Jones; his son, Galen Jones; his sister, Catherine Scott; and his brother, Walter Jones.
Frank will be fondly remembered for his love of cars, his collection of hats, and the many years he spent enjoying bowling leagues. A devoted family man, hard worker, and entrepreneur, Frank dedicated 30 years of service as a foreman at Caterpillar. He was also the proud owner of Frank O’s Tavern, where he created many lasting memories.
His presence and loving soul will truly be missed by his family and friends who knew and loved him.
