French Ace "Pete" Bailey Jr., age 67, of Lincoln passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Abraham Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln. Pete was born on June 19, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois, to French Ace and Doris (LaMaster) Bailey Sr. He is survived by one sister, Sue Sherman of Chillicothe, Illinois; and two brothers, David Bailey of Metamora, Illinois, and Michael Bailey of East Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Pottstown Cemetery in Pottstown.
