

Hui Pun “Kim” Davis, 63, of Loganville, GA, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 12:42 am Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA with her husband, daughter, and step-daughter by her side. Kim was born on February 6, 1952 in Choong Nam Dangjin, S Korea the daughter of Shim Ku Yi and Sun Bok Min. She married Thomas Kemp. Kim later married Danny Davis on February 15, 1991 in Las Vegas. She is survived by her husband of 25 years; one daughter, Elizabeth Kemp of Loganville, GA; one step-daughter, Anne Davis of New York; one step-son, Danny Davis Jr of N Carolina; four step-grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Gabe Davis, Lily Davis, and Maddy Davis; one brother, Hui Jung Yi; two sisters, Hui Ja Yi and Hui Yeong Yi all of S Korea. Kim is preceded in death by her parents. She had a bachelor’s degree in theology and was an entrepreneur until her retirement.Kim had been a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church in Edwards. A funeral service will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
