Ingrid will always be remembered of me and my husband! she was a veru nice cousin and we often talk about her and think about her daughter and Family who has lost a mother and grandmother and mother in law. Tove Lie and Dag Frøland

I just heard that Ingrid passed away.  I worked with her for a long time at the Peoria Civic Center.  She will be missed.  I enjoyed working with her.  

I had the pleasure to work with Ingrid for 20 years at the Civic Center. We became close friends over the years, and she was always watching over me like a sister. She was proud of her daughter and family, always sharing stories. It was a shock to hear the passing of Ingrid, you would think that someone would have notified people about her passing.

We are thankful for the memories, laughs, sharing of pictures and seven years of Bible study with Ingrid.  Looking forward to meeting  her family and especially those precious grandchildren she was so proud of.

Ingrid was my supervisor for about ten years  at the civic center until I resigned about two years ago we were the same age and really connected from day one she was the most loving and caring person  I’ve had the pleasure to get to know we shared many stories about our lives kids grandkids everyday life she wasn’t just my boss but also a very great personal friend I was very interested in her background being Norwegian and teased her being a Boilmaker  we talked forever about our grandkids with pride and joy she tried like hell trying to teach me speaking Norwegian good luck with that lol it’s a understatement saying how shocked and sad to hear about her passing I will forever hold a special place in my heart for having such a special and great friend to share a lot of laughs with love you Ingrid my heart is crying your pain in the butt Doug

My husband and I (Matt and Jenna Walters) were event managers at the Peoria Civic Center for the last 5 years. Ingrid was a supervisor on many of our events and she always made sure she helped our events run smoothly. Our hearts were broken to hear of this news. She was not just a co-worker, she was also a friend. She would often show us pictures of her grandchildren, who she was so proud of and we loved swapping stories throughout the countless long hours at work.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Ingrid will be certainly missed in our lives and at the Peoria Civic Center.

May the Lord rest her and give strength to her Daughter Anna Fuentes, grandkids and siblings. My Best to Michael Dailey. May Ingrid always be remember as a caring peaceful person.

I worked with Ingrid for many years  and was shocked to learn of her passing. She was always pleasant and a pleasure to be around.  I am very saddened and would like to express my condolences to her family.  I am very sorry for your loss. 

I was sorry to hear about Ingrid. We were friends at Klondike  Junior High and Harrison High School in West Lafayette. When we were at Klondike we spent time together working on a science fair project.  In addition, our fathers were colleagues at Purdue University. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Ingrid was the love 💘of my life. We knew each other for more than 40 years and reconnected in2015. We started dating in 1980 when we were in our twenties and I moved her to peoria in 1981 to start a new job and we tried to maintain a long distance relationship I am so happy we reconnected and I moved ❤to peoria in2017 to be with her. I thought we grow old together but it was not to be. She passed peacefully but also unexpectedly. I cherish the time we had together and I already miss her greatly. I will love her forever and she will always be in my heart and my hope is to be with her when my time comes. She was a wonderful caring person who I know loved me and also her family. I miss you honey and I kiss your picture every night before I go to bed RIP my love

I worked with Ingrid at New Leaf and we bonded over our love of reading and  favorite authors.  As a new employee, she helped me with learning the process.  She was so very proud of her daughter and son in law and her grandchildren and enjoyed showing me the latest pictures and sharing stories of her most recent visit to see them.  I'm deeply saddened at the news of your loss, my sincere sympathies. Ingrid was special and will be missed.

I met Ingrid when I first started working at New Leaf.  She was the first person I would see in the morning.  We hit it off right from the start and became really good friends. I cannot believe she is gone. RIP Ingrid... you will be missed.

I was a patient at new leaf 3 different times, and I remember she was the first person to make me feel special and wanted with a big smile on her face while she was doing it, she did everything she could to make sure I felt like new leaf was my new home and that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I had to drive with her every morning in the van to get medicine so I was able to get very close to her and loved listening to her old school tunes. She made sure to let me know how proud of me she was and to never give up. I'm so sorry for her family and close friends loss, and also sorry for New leafs loss as Ingrid  is very irreplaceable and did so much for all the women who worked there and all the women who walked in and out of the doors as patients. R.I.P Ingrid you were an amazing woman and inspired many ❤

I worked with Ingrid for many years at New Leaf. She was often the first face our ladies saw when they were starting their treatment journey.  She was also usually the last face they saw as they left New Leaf to try recovery in the real world. She would give them a hug, tell them to keep in touch and wish them well. All the days between their first and last days, she treated our clients with respect and kindness. She made such a difference in the lives of so many and she will be missed. 

The few times seeing Ingrid on my walks was always delightful.  She was a good neighbor and  kind to all.  If there is anything one can do please feel free to contact me.

Ingrid was a valued friend whom I first met when I began working at the Peoria Civic Center, and she was one of the Supervisors.  Our friendship continued over the years, about 20 of them!  She was upbeat, conscientious, always nice to everyone.  I fixed her lawn mower a couple times, and told her how to keep it running for the next year, and she did!  Learning of her passing was certainly not expected and she will be greatly missed by me and her many, many friends.
