Born in Decatur and raised in Peoria, Jack lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lena Case, and by his infant daughter, Laura Suzanne Case.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Beth Case and their children, Tony (Heidi) Case of Chillicothe and Annette (Pat) Minasian of Washington; and seven cherished grandchildren: A.J. Case of Germantown Hills, Maddie Case of Brunswick, GA, Caleb Minasian of Iowa City, IA, Jacob Minasian of Asheville, NC, Zac Case of Chillicothe, Nathan Minasian and Ella Minasian, both of Washington.
Jack proudly served in the U.S. Navy from May 1964 to April 1968. He attended the University of Illinois and worked for many years at the Illinois Department of Transportation. Even after his retirement, his expertise was sought after. He returned to the workforce as a consultant at Maurer-Stutz, contributing to major infrastructure projects including the Bob Michael Bridge and the I-74 renovation in Peoria.
A devoted family man, Jack found joy spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids boating, vacationing at the beach, and cheering from the sidelines at his grandchildren’s sporting events– always their biggest fan.
He was a faithful member of Bethany Church, where his love for Jesus inspired him to share the gospel with all those around him. Jack’s legacy of love, faith and service will live on in all who knew and loved him.
Jack's visitation will be held at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria, on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am. Dr. Ritch Boerckel will officiate. Burial will take place at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
