Born May 21, 1922 in Centerville, IA to Jay and Lucille (Hudson) Green. He married Patricia Beck. She survives.
Also surviving are his son, Tom (Pam) Green; granddaughter, Kelli (Marc) Kennington; and two great grandchildren, Rylee and Jakob.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Jr., and brother, Sydney.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services or visitation. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
