During the Korean War Jim served his country in the United States Navy. Returning to Peoria he worked with his father in the family contracting business. For 35 years Jim was an employee of the City of Peoria, retiring in 1993 as the Director of Facilities. Following his retirement, he joined the sales team of Kallister Reality.
