Jane Frances Lough

She was born August 22, 1939 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of John Jr. and Geraldine McLosky Greketis. Jane married William J Garske Sr. She later married Alfred J Lough who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie L. (Harold) Stark of Peoria; three sons, William J. Jr. (Carolyn) Garske of Camden, ME, Thomas (Tasha) Garske of Bartonville, and Richard (Diane) Garske of Cloverdale, IN; nine wonderful grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Carrie (Jason) King, Rachel (Corey) Curtis, Ashley Stark, Christopher (Brandi) Garske, Michael (April) Garske, William Garske III, Jared Garske, Brittany Garske and Ethan Garske; one sister, Paula Ursuy of Birch Run, MI; one brother-in-law, Carl Ursuy of Burt, MI, and last but certainly not least, she leaves her precious great grandchildren; Connor, Olivia, Eli, Annabella, Luca, and Logan.

Jane was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Garske, who passed on October 3, 2014; and one sister, Sharon L. (Don) Ulrey.

She was employed at Proctor Hospital for 20 years in patient registration. She last worked at Gastroenterology LTD. in Peoria, IL.

Those who knew our mom, or grandmother, Jane, were blessed to have experienced her strength, kindness, and caring nature. Her family wishes to express her everlasting love that will forever fill their hearts. Her steadfast care of her disabled son, John, for 35 years is a testament to her enduring love. We love you, Mom.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Franciscan Friars will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Illinois.
