Jo Ann Gould, 88, of Peoria, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 26, 1933 in Prairie City, IL a daughter of Lyle and Marie (Buchen) Clayberg. Jo Ann married Jack L. Gould on December 30, 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2021 in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kristy Sutter.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Debra (Byron) Yang of Peoria; two grandsons, Matthew Yang of Peoria and Justin (Rachel) Yang of Washington; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kobe, Liv, Jett, Xavier, Nikko and Keia; and sister, Kathy (Bruce) Cox of Phoenix, AZ.
Jo Ann was a longtime member of Memorial Christian Church in Peoria, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 19, 2022 . Rev. April McClure Stewart and Rev. L. Arvil Bass will officiate. Her visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Interment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Jo Ann was known for her kindness.
