She was born on August 12, 1971 in Peoria, IL to Frederick B. and Danna R. (Dowell) Smith. She was preceded in death by her father in 1999.
Surviving is her mother Danna Smith of Peoria, three children, Brooke A Moore, Marvin G. Moore Jr., and Freddie R. Moore all of Colorado, one sister, Jamie (Scott) Kolar of Downers Grove, IL; two brothers, Bradley (Lisa) Smith of Lombard, IL and Bryan Smith of East Peoria, her children’s father, Marvin G. Moore and many nieces and nephews.
After graduating high school Jodie moved to Colorado where she attended college and received her Associates Degree in Business Management. She worked as a Consumer’s Collection Agent for several years before returning to Peoria.
A service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the service. Pastor Matt Morgan will officiate.
