She was born September 13, 1935 in East Peoria, a daughter of John and Johanna Wilging Varga.
Surviving are one daughter, Sherri (Mike) Dye of San Rafael, CA; one sister, June Hartmann of Hanna City; and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother.
Johanna was employed by Auto Owners Insurance in Peoria for over 40 years.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Pastor John LaFollette will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
