

Kevin Lee Moilien, 66, of Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Accolade Healthcare under the care of Compassus Hospice. Born in Hayward, CA, on July 2, 1959, he was the son of Wallace R. and Marilyn (Stout) Moilien.
Surviving Kevin is his children, Andrea (James III) Kenny of Dunlap, and Nicholas Moilien of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, James IV, Arabella, and Adrianna Kenny; mother, Marilyn R. Engel; siblings, Tim Moilien of Peoria, and Diane (Scott) Gordon of Lafayette, CO; nephews, Geoffrey Moilien, Ben Gordon, Evan (Therese) Gordon, and Cullen Gordon; and aunt, Krista (Bill) Hunt of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Moilien; step-father, Bill Engel; and nephew, Christopher Moilien.
In 1965, Kevin moved with his family to Peoria, IL, and attended Concordia Lutheran School, and graduated from Richwoods High School in 1977. He was employed at Alcast for many years.
His love of the outdoors was a large part of his life as a Boy Scout and Eagle Scout. This love began in childhood, hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. As a member of Ducks Unlimited, Kevin's hunting days were fulfilled with the mounted trophies of ducks and geese.
A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
