LeAnn Jean Scales, 86 of Peoria, passed away Monday, October 20, 2015. Born July 29, 1929 in Peoria to Leon Handegan and Ann Wells; she married Everett Scales June 18, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Surviving are her children; Crow (Cathy) Scales of West Peoria, Ronnie (Lisa) Scales, David Scales and Susan (Michael) Noel, all of Peoria and Kathy Brown of Colchester, Ill; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also preceding in death were her daughter-in-law, Linda, brother Larry, sister Carolyn and grandson Matthew. LeAnn was a sales clerk at TJ Maxx in Peoria for many years before retiring. She was a loving mother who enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday, October 23, 2015 at Mt. Hawley Cemetery in Peoria with the Rev. Jack Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 am Friday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Peoria VA Clinic
