Linda Sue Young

Linda was born on August 8, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Marcus and Edith (Holt) Bowman.

Surviving is her fiancé, Robb Morecraft; her daughters, Shannon (Beth) DeWeese of Hanna City, IL and Jennifer DeWeese of Creve Coeur, IL; four grandchildren, Breann DeWeese, Taylor DeWeese, Richard Crique, Jr., and Kaleb Bustle; two brothers, Rodney Bowman of Peoria, IL and Markie Bowman of Peoria, IL; one sister, Pat (Robert) Chandler of Peoria, IL; her nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jax and cat, Sassy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and one grandson, Tylor Young.

Linda was a fun loving, good heart person, who always willing to help those in need. She was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon, stock car, Bears and 49ers fan. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafting, gardening, and traveling. Linda was a member of ABATE, the Hanna City Sportsman Club, the LINDA club and the Billy “Crash” Craddock Fan Club. She loved her family and will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Bob DeBolt will be officiating.
