

Jack was born in Peoria IL on May 14, 1934 to James and Doris (Kepple) Kille. Jack was a Marine veteran serving his country from 1953-1956. His parents preceded him in death as well as his daughter Maureen Ortagus and his Sister Harriot Hudson. Surviving is his beautiful wife Sandra “Sandy” Kille and they were married on January 24th 2001 in Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are his step-children that he loved as his own, his step-son David (Angela Merrick) Hislope of Mapleton, his step-daughters Sheri Hislope of Dunlap, Cindy Hislope of Oregon, and his sister Margaret Naven of Peoria. Jack was also survived by 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his life long friends Craig and Betty Day.
Jack spent the last 17 winters at his second home with his Weslaco, Texas family. He enjoyed watching the cubs play and was even able to watch this last fall when they won the World Series. He was an avid fisherman and golfer that achieved 6 holes in one. He was a member of the Peoria Elks Lodge number 20 here in Peoria as well as the American Legion Post 979.
Visitation will be Friday March 3, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria IL. Funeral services will be Saturday March 4 at 11am at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery with Military Honors.
