Loraine Johnson

She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Robert Dean Johnson.

She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Walter and Virginia (Galbraith) Gleason on August 18, 1927. She graduated from Ottawa High School in Kansas. She worked for the Signal Corp during WWII, and later retired from the office at Dunn and Bradstreet in Peoria.

She was a devoted wife and mother and loved to sing, cook, entertain, travel, and was an avid reader. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Loraine is also survived by her three children, Kathy (Mike) Joop, Kregg (Connie) Johnson, and Karin (Ron) Knickerbocker, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a beloved family friend Julie Custer.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kim Johnson.

A funeral will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 11:00 am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with a visitation being held an hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
