Born October 12, 1948 in Peoria, IL to Walter M. and Lucille (Jackson) Applegate. She married Dean Chamberlin October 18, 1969 in Peoria and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Jill (Phil) Szpicki of Harvard IL, Amy (John) Williamson of Peoria and Ryan (Melissa) Chamberlin of Kenosha WI, her grandchildren, Liam Joyce of Bolingbrook IL, Philip and Audrey Szpicki of Harvard IL, Caleb and Marley Williamson of Peoria, Rylee and Alexandra Chamberlin of Kenosha WI.
Lynne worked at Proctor Hospital and several doctor’s offices during career. She enjoyed reading, bowling, the beach and wintering in Florida. She also enjoyed following her grandchildren’s school and sports activities. She is member of St Jude Catholic Church in Peoria.
A memorial Mass will be held at St Jude Church in Dunlap on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 10 a.m. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Cemetery with a Celebration of Life immediately following at St Jude Church Hettiger Hall.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Peoria Chapter.
