He was born March 14, 1953 in Peoria, IL, to Wilbert F. and Shirley A. (O’Connell) Theobald. He married Vicky Durand on July 1, 1972 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his father and his step-father, Adolph Ganion.
Surviving are his wife Vicky of East Peoria, his mother Shirley Ganion of Peoria, two daughters, Angela (Jeffrey) Stolba of Washington, IL and Alicia (Steve) Astbury of East Peoria and one step-son, Nathan (Kim) Price of Washington. Also surviving are three brothers, John (Nancy), Gary and Michael, five granddaughters, Courtney, Kassidy, Karissa, Olivia and Brooke and two grandsons, Lucas and Isaac.
Mark worked as a Conductor for Union-Pacific Railroad for over 34 years and attended Bradley-Epworth United Methodist Church in Peoria.
A service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 with visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. The Rev. Tom Eckhardt will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
