She was born on September 20, 1930 in Peoria to the late Howard and Nellie (Hittle) Hasty. She married James Clancy on November 11, 1949 in Peoria, and he preceded her in death on August 06, 2010 in Peoria.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Hasty; sister, Virginia Hasty; and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Linda) Clancy, Gerald (Sheryl) Clancy, and Patricia Williams-Clancy. Also surviving are several beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary had previously been employed by Block and Kohl Company. She enjoyed making ceramics, and playing bingo. She was a member of Christ Bible Church in Creve Coeur.
Visitation will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Friday, May 06, 2022 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Saturday, May 07, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Tom Pisano officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice or to PAWS. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
