Mary Jane Hulett

She was born August 15, 1937 in Montgomery, Alabama to Joe and Allie (Fountain) Earnest. She married Freeman William Fisher and he preceded her in death in 1968. Her parents and several siblings also preceded her in death.

Surviving are husband Chester Hulett of Peoria; three children, Bill (Pammy) Fisher of Peoria, Curtis (Betty) Fisher of Peoria and Becky (Jim) Dowell of Bartonville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters Lucille Hughes of Loretto, TN and Betty Hicks of Hartsel, AL and one brother Robert Earnest of Yates City, IL.

Mary worked as a Supervisor at Peoria Production Shop until retiring 2008. She attended Bible Methodist Church in Peoria and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. Mary loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan.

A visitation will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, February 16, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery.
