Mary Pracel Rankin

Born July 30, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John and Sophia Pracel, she married James L. Rankin III in 1955 in Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, James Lea Rankin IV who died on October 14, 2013.

Surviving are many cousins and dear friends.

She was a high honors graduate of Schenley High School and also Miss Conley’s School in Pittsburgh.

Mary was an Executive Secretary with the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. After moving to Peoria she worked for Dynamic Graphics for 14 years. An official of the company said, “I could always count on Mary to represent Dynamic Graphics in a professional, friendly manner and to ensure that our customers, vendors, employees and visitors received the best service. She is the definition of excellent customer service.”

Mary was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church in Peoria.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, 2408 West Willow Knolls Drive, Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday, January 9th, also at the funeral home with Fr. David Richardson officiating. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Memorials may be made to any charity.
