Mayna was a devoted wife, doting mother, and loving grandmother. She loved the Lord and introduced her children to Him at an early age. Teri remembers how she used to sing on Sunday mornings “Rise and shine give God the glory” to get them up for church. She was a faithful member, for the past 19-years of Riverside Community Church.
Mayna retired from P.A. Bergner & Co. department store in October of 2017 where she gave 42 years of service. Many remember her as the Fashion Fair lady. She was family oriented and loved spending time with her family. It was nothing for a family member to call her to go on a road trip with them. She loved playing trivia pursuit and Wii checkers.
Mayna loved her time with the Lord. When she retired, she began writing her own biblical devotionals, which she would share with her children and extended family members. Her last week of life she shared with her family that she was on her way to be with Jesus.
