

She was born on January 22, 1951, in Peoria, Illinois, to Robert and Doris Dodge. Nannette graduated from East Peoria High School and, as a working adult, went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Sangamon State University.
Nannette married Danial McLee on October 2, 1998. Together, they shared a life filled with family, hard work, and a mutual love of motorcycling.
She built a long and successful career with Sunbelt Rentals, where she worked for 38 years as an Accounting and Treasury Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina. She retired in December 2022, when she and Dan relocated to Dunlap to be closer to family.
Nannette enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She also had a deep love for motorcycling and owned many Harley-Davidson motorcycles over the years. She and Dan shared that passion through their motorcycle trike business, which they owned and enjoyed together for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Dan McLee of Dunlap; her son, Chadd (Jennifer) Taylor of Dunlap; her grandchildren, Chance Taylor and McKenna Taylor (fiancé, Chris LeCrone), all of Dunlap; her stepchildren, Chad McLee and Amanda McLee, both of Peoria; four step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dodge and Doris Hall; her late husband, Charles Taylor; and her daughter, Abbey Aeschliman.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
