Norma Jean Sleeth

She was born on August 9, 1931 in Peoria, to Harry Matthew and Ethel Mae (Noffsinger) Lehman. She married William "Bill" Sleeth on August 1, 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two children Linda McIntosh and Mark Sleeth.

Surviving are her four children, William M. Sleeth of Marquette Heights, Rodney (Janet) Sleeth of Peoria, Kerri Sleeth of Huntley, IL and Sheri (Joel) Urich of Huntley, IL; nine grandchildren, Darin (Kim) Stewart, Brooke Sleeth, Adam Urich, Taryn Urich, Nathan McIntosh, Dylan (Demi) McIntosh, Derek McIntosh, Cassidy (Austin) Roehm and Madison McIntosh; four great-grandchildren, Jakob Stewart, Sullivan, Eloise, and Murphy Roehm; and son-in-law, Terry McIntosh.

Norma graduated from the I.C.C. Nursing Program and worked as an LPN with St. Francis Medical Center for 21 years before retiring in 1998. She was an 80 year member of the Peoria Heights Congregational Church and enjoyed reading, traveling and going to her kids and grandkids sporting events. Norma loved family gatherings, where she would spend time with her kids and grandkids.

Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date. A private burial of the urn will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
