Norman Norm Bragg

Norman Bragg, 68, of Bartonville, IL passed away Tuesday March 29, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center. Norm was born August 19, 1942 in Peoria, IL to Charles and Elizabeth Searle Bragg. He married Peggy Rollings on August 24, 1963.

Surviving are: his wife Peggy of Bartonville, two sons Matthew (Tia) Bragg of Bartonville and Gregory Bragg of Trivoli, three grandchildren; Dylan and Keegan of Bartonville, and Jade of Trivoli, his brother Charles (Donna) Bragg of Bolingbrook, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Norm was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard.

Norm was a United States Army Viet Nam veteran and a member of American Legion Post #979 of Bartonville, V.F.W. Post 3883 of Bartonville, Soldier Hill Volunteer Association, and Westminster Presbyterian Church. Norm worked for Pabst brewery until its closure and then for Peoria Public Schools as a custodian at Northmoor and Von Steuben schools retiring in 2005. Norm loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren and was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball fan.

Services will be held at 11:30 Friday April 1, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
