

She was born July 27, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Odette (Pelicier) Comer.
Odette is survived by her children, Amy (Shane) Tomblin and Jason (Felish) Pickles; grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Kendal, Jayleon, Jayla, Jaliya and Jayson; one great-granddaughter, Cadence Odette; sister, Kathy (Terry) Kuhns and brothers, Bill (Bonnie) Comer and Joe Comer; nieces and nephews, Jay Begner, Chris Kuhns, Nicole Blanchard, Kyle Comer, Kasey Comer Carnes, Shannon and Brian Comer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Danny Comer and first husband Dennis Pickles.
Odette was a member of local dart leagues, a bingo enthusiast, and she loved doing karaoke, always ready to sing her heart out.
Odette dedicated her life to fostering children, providing a loving home and a nurturing environment to those in need, there was always an extra seat at her table. She was a mother/grandmother to everyone who knew her. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds; she would give you the shirt off her back if it meant helping a friend.
Above all, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the CNA’s and nurses who helped take care of Odette over the years.
Cremation rites have been accorded, a graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the grandchildren’s future needs.
