

He was born Oct. 29, 1922 in Peoria to Paris and Viola (Jacobs) Sullivan. He married Mary Jane Brinegar on Sep. 29, 1946 in Peoria. She survives along with two daughters: Sandra (Michael) Sapit of Jacksonville, FL, Georgia (Michael) Siemann of Naperville, IL, two sons: Ron (Kathleen) Sullivan of Peoria, Gary (Connie) Sullivan of Peoria, eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and three brothers.
Parry was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in WWII. Following his time in the military, he went to work in the Right-of-Way Department for CILCO for 25 years retiring in 1982.
He was a member of Madison Avenue United Methodist Church in Peoria. He was also a member of the Peoria Barbershop Chorus for over 50 years. He enjoyed traveling all over the world with his family, especially in his mint 1962 Cadillac. He was proud of the fact he and Mary Jane flew on the Concorde over to London and came back on the QE2. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to their activities and sporting events.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens with Military Honors.
