She was born September 18, 1930 in Peoria, IL to Louis and Hazel (Withrell) Wennerholt. She married Orville Moore in 1948 and then later married Jerry Crawford in 1978 in Palmyra, MO . He preceded her in death in 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a granddaughter, Courtney Moore and a Son-in-law, Thomas A. Moses.
Surviving are two children, David R. (Wendy K.) Moore and Janice N. (Brad) Funderburk; three grandsons, Derek D. Moore, Thomas A. (Breanna) Moses II, and David Moses; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Moses, Zachary Moses, and Petra Moses.
Phyllis worked as a clerk for Chicago Title and Trust Company in Peoria before retiring in 1982. She enjoyed eating out with friends, going to the Miller Center and to Conklin Dinner Theater.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Parkview cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
