

Robert "Bob" or "Bobby" Moore, 77, of Bellevue, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois, a son of Robert R. Moore and Evelyn I. (Vandergriff) Moore. Bob was the beloved husband of the late Roszella E. (Havens) Moore with whom he shared and remained happily married for 33 years. Roszella preceded him in death on June 19, 2010 in Peoria, Illinois.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his loving daughter, Terry Havens of Bellevue, Illinois; as well as his cherished granddaughters, An Nguyen, Chinea Nguyen, Cynthia Ly, all of Peoria, Illinois; his sister, Pam (John) Lane of Bartonville, Illinois; his brother, Richard (Kathi) Moore of Quincy, Illinois; his brother, Terry (Cora) Moore of Norfolk, Virginia; his sister, Sherry (Geoffrey) Postin of Bartonville, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He proudly served in the United States Army and fought bravely in the Vietnam War.
Bob worked at Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville for many years until his retirement.
He enjoyed bowling - bowling a couple perfect 300 games, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends. Bob loved all sports, especially baseball and football. You would always see him with a Pepsi in his hand. He especially loved spending time with his great-grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Kaia, Cataliah and Nevaeh. Bob spent his last few months cherishing and building many moments with his daughter who stayed by his side during his last moments. He had a big heart, smile and ability to make everyone laugh will be sorely missed.
We love you dad and grandpa! You will be missed.
Bob's funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. His visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria with full military honors.
