Steve was born on March 1, 1949 in Peoria, to Lloyd and Geraldine (Prather) Walters. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Walters; his siblings, James (Evelyn) Walters, Cindy Miller, and Jeff (Erika) Walters; and many nieces and nephews.
Steve enjoyed painting, drawing, crosswords puzzles, and loved to take care of his garden.
A private family service was held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on July 20th, 2024. Burial took place at Swan Lake Cemetery.
