My dear Carol,
I give you my deepest sympathy for the loss of Steve.  I am his dental hygienist, Tina. I took care of Steve as my patient for many years. I will dearly miss him.  Steve and I had alot of fun and political conversations as I am sure you know all too well. I loved him as a friend, he is my buddy.  I regret not being able to come to the visitation tonight, I had a surgical procedure done today and cannot be there.  Our deepest sorrow from the office of Dr. Chris Couri.    Tina Spurgeon

Steve was my first and dearest buddy from early childhood until I left for college.  His house just two doors from ours was my home away from home.  We played ball, went sledding, like the same books and just hung out.  He honored me by being one of my groomsmen in our wedding in South Bend.  Even though the miles have seperated us over many years  he was always special and the first name I thought of when I would reflect on growing up.  I am saddened that he has departed this earth, but will hold dear to wonderful memories which I will always have.  Thanks for being my friend Steve.

Carol, How blessed I was to have had the pleasure of knowing Steve and you. I will truly miss him, he was a very nice man and he always made me laugh. I know you have a anniversary coming up and this one is going to be so difficult for you but try to enjoy the day as you wish---Steve was very luckly to have you in his life. I truly want to come friday to the visitation, but as you know I had chemo today so I will have to see what friday brings for me--if I am not their in person--I wil be their in thought.Carol My prayers are with you and your  family. How shocked I was to see Steve's obituary in this morning's paper.  I have so many fond memories of him from our years at First National and then Commerce Bank.  He was a good friend.  You have our sympathy and prayers.  We are leaving for Texas in the morning so will be unable to attend
his funeral.  Know we are thinking of you.
