Tamara "Tammy" S. Rubnich

She was born on December 29, 1962, in Peoria, the only daughter of Edward Schmidgall. On March 25, 1988, she married Jeff Rubnich in Peoria.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Jeff Rubnich; sister-in-law, Denise Rubnich and her family, Sara (Josh) with children Brecken and Auggie, and Ryan (Megan) with children Jorie and Indie; brother-in-law, Rocky Rubnich and family; special extended family, Jason and Amber with children Takeo, Arlo, and Avery; and many friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie Rubnich; her father, Edward Schmidgall; grandparents, Ruth and Jack Sleeth; and mother-in-law, Pat Rubnich.

Tammy worked as a US bankruptcy courtroom deputy clerk for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed caring for children, camping, fishing, motorcycle rides, living in the country, and was an avid sports and NASCAR fan. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her dogs, especially Dude, Pup Pup, Shady, Canker, and Zeva.

Services were held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
