Born January 24, 1939 in Peoria to Clarence and Ruth (Tate) Schwartz; he married Nancy Carmody on November 6, 1960 in Dunlap, IL and she survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Alexa Schwartz (Victoria Finkenstadt) of East Peoria; and his granddaughter, Kayla Kaupp.
His parents and his brother preceded him in death.
Ted enjoyed careers at both Peoria Machine and Springer Burklund before retiring.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He took great pride in raising and showing Doberman Pinschers.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, 2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria and from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, September 1st at Charter Oak Bible Church where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with the Rev. Roger Larson officiating.
Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials are suggested to Charter Oak Bible Church.
